Omelet is a nutritious and tasty dish that also cooks quickly enough, which makes it possible to spend time on other worries. There are many options for making an omelet. There are recipes where milk, mayonnaise, sour cream, water, broth are added to eggs … Today I propose to cook an omelet with sour cream, which turns out to be especially tender and airy. But, like many other recipes, you can add any products to it: vegetables, cheese, meat components (boiled chicken, ham, sausage, smoked meats …). There are a lot of options, so you can experiment and come up with your own original omelette recipes. And today we will make an omelet with sour cream, adding sweet pepper to the mass. This is an incredibly tasty and quick omelette that will be a nutritious breakfast or a hearty dinner for the whole family.
Today we will cook an omelet in the classic way - fry in a pan. But you can bake a lot in the oven or microwave. The dietary version of the omelet will turn out in a double boiler. If you are preparing an omelet for children, it is better to use a microwave oven or steam it. If you want to add an omelette of density, then pour flour into the mass, pomp - soda.

Ingredients:
- Eggs - 2 pcs.
- Sour cream - 2 tablespoons
- Sweet bell pepper - 0.5 pcs.
- Baking soda - pinch
- Vegetable oil - for frying
- Salt - a pinch
Step-by-step cooking of an omelet with sour cream with sweet pepper, a recipe with a photo:
1. Pour eggs into a deep bowl.
2. Add a pinch of salt and baking soda to them.
3. Mix the eggs with a fork until the white and yolk become one whole. You do not need to beat the mass with a mixer. It is only necessary to stir the mixture until smooth.
4. Add sour cream to the egg mass.
5. Stir foods and uniformity and smoothness. You can add 1 tbsp. flour to make the omelet denser and more satisfying.
6. Wash the bell peppers and dry them with a paper towel. Remove the stem and cut the pepper in half. Remove the seed box and cut off the septa. Cut the fruit into strips about 0.5 mm thick.
7. Pour vegetable oil into a frying pan and heat. Add bell peppers and fry until golden brown over medium heat.
8. Pour the egg mixture over the pepper and twist the pan until it spreads evenly over the entire bottom.
9. Place the skillet on the stove and turn on the heat just below medium. Cover the pan with a lid and cook until the eggs coagulate. This process will take about 5-7 minutes. Serve the finished omelet with sour cream with sweet pepper to the table after cooking, since it is not customary to cook it for future use.
