Ingredients:
- Chicken - 1 medium sized carcass (I have poultry)
- Corn - 2-3 ears
- Salt - 1 tsp or to taste
- Ground black pepper - a pinch
- Spices and spices to taste
- Vegetable oil - for frying
Step by step cooking of corn cob stew, recipe with photo:
1. Peel the corn of wrapping leaves, wash, put in a saucepan and fill with drinking water.
2. Season with salt and boil. Reduce the temperature to the lowest setting and cook for 15 minutes under the lid.
3. Remove the cooked corn from the cooking pot, cool slightly and cut the cobs into 4-5 pieces. Do not pour out the water in which they were cooked. It will come in handy for further cooking.
4. Wash the corn, remove the remaining feathers and cut into pieces. If you want the dish to be more dietary, then remove the skin from the bird.
5. In a skillet, heat the vegetable oil and send the poultry into it.
6. Fry the poultry over high heat until golden brown on all sides. It will seal all the juice in pieces.
7. Add boiled corn cobs to the chicken skillet.
8. Season food with salt, black pepper and any spices. Pour 2-3 ladles of water into the pan in which the corn was boiled. You can use more liquid if you like a lot of gravy.
