Cooking okroshka is simple with sausage, as many housewives do, it is banal, familiar and boring. If you want to add variety to the dish and diet, add the meat component to your meal. The traditions of Russian cuisine suggest putting low-fat boiled meat in okroshka, and, of course, chicken has no competitors here. But it is much tastier to make okroshka not just with boiled poultry, but with smoked poultry. Smoked chicken meat goes well with all products to taste, so it will be an excellent addition for okroshka. The smoked chicken taste is confusing and surprising.
You can cook such okroshka both in ordinary water and in carbonated or mineral water. You can take whey, kefir, ayran, tan. Also today, sour milk, broth, yogurt and even beer are used for okroshka. You can even combine several types of fills. Here it is better to build on your own taste preferences. Each okroshka is good in its own way, and it is difficult to say which of the cold soups tastes better, but the classic of the genre is homemade okroshka kvass.

Ingredients:
- Potatoes - 4 pcs.
- Milk sausage - 250 g
- Citric acid - 1 tsp without top
- Salt - 1 tsp or to taste
- Cucumbers - 3 pcs.
- Smoked chicken leg - 1 pc.
- Dill - bunch
- Eggs - 5 pcs.
- Sour cream - 400 ml
- Green onions - bunch
- Parsley - a bunch
Step by step cooking okroshka with sausage and smoked chicken, recipe with photo:
1. Wash the smoked chicken leg, remove the skin and place in the cooking pot.
2. Fill it with drinking water and boil the smoked broth for half an hour. Then cool the broth with meat.
3. By this time, prepare the potatoes: boil them in their uniforms, peel and cut into cubes.
4. Eggs are also hard boiled, cooled, peeled and diced. Cut all products to the same size, with sides about 0.7 mm.
5. Wash cucumbers, dry, cut off the ends, cut and send to the pan with all products.
6. Cut the sausage and add to the saucepan.
7. Finely chop the washed and dried green onion feathers.
8. Dill with parsley, wash, dry, chop and add to the pan.
9. Cut the boiled smoked chicken leg into small pieces and add to all products.
10. Add sour cream, citric acid and salt to okroshka with sausage and smoked chicken. Pour the products with chilled smoked broth, mix everything well and send to the refrigerator to infuse for 1 hour. If the broth is not enough, add boiled chilled water.
