- Lettuce leaves - a few leaves
- Strawberries - 7-10 berries depending on size
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
Step-by-step preparation of salad with strawberries and lettuce, recipe with photo:
1. Wash and dry lettuce leaves with a paper towel. Cut them into medium-sized pieces or tear them by hand. Lettuce leaves wither very quickly and lose their airy delicate appearance. Therefore, wash as many of them as you will use for one cooking.
2. Wash and dry the strawberries with a paper towel. Remove the stem and cut the berries into 2-4 pieces, depending on the size. For the recipe, take berries that are dense and firm. Soft ones will not work, because when mixing foods, they can loose their shape and turn into a puree.
3. Combine lettuce and strawberries in a deep bowl.
4. Wash the lemon under hot water, dry and cut into two halves. Squeeze the juice out of it and season the salad.
