Cooking Pork Heart Salad
1. Rinse the pork heart well and use a knife to separate it from the films and blood vessels. Dip the offal in a saucepan, cover with water and cook on the stove. The ideal time for boiling the heart is 1.5 hours, while in the middle of cooking, change the water. After the offal is done, chill the heart well.
Buy a fresh heart, not ice cream, so there will be more chances to get a high-quality product, and not stale and frozen.
2. In the meantime, prepare the rest of the food. Peel the carrots, wash and grate on a coarse grater. You can use a food processor to make the carrots look prettier and speed up the cooking process.
3. Put the pan on the stove, pour in the vegetable oil and heat it well. Then put the carrots and fry them over medium heat until soft and golden.
4. Peel the onions, wash and cut into half rings.
5. Put the onion in a deep container, add vinegar and pour in warm drinking water. Leave it to marinate for 20 minutes.
6. Cut the chilled heart into cubes and combine in one bowl with fried carrots, pickled onions and mayonnaise.
7. Stir the foods well, put them in a dish and serve the salad to the table.
