Step by step cooking of zucchini, tomato and cheese sandwiches:
1. Wash the squash and pat dry with a paper towel. Cut off the ends on both sides and cut the vegetable into rings about 5 mm thick. If the fruits are ripe, then peel them first and remove large seeds. In general, for such recipes, it is recommended to use young fruits so that such manipulations are not carried out.
2. Prepare the rest of the food as well. Wash the tomatoes, dry and cut into thin rings. It is advisable to choose tomatoes of the same diameter as the zucchini so that the appetizer looks beautiful. Peel the garlic. Finely chop the dill. Cut the cheese into thin slices, although you can grate it on a coarse grater.
3. Pour vegetable oil into a frying pan and heat it well. Arrange the zucchini, season with salt, ground pepper and fry over medium heat until golden brown.
4. Turn the courgettes over to the other side and bring them to the same brown color. On the other side, vegetables do not need to be salted.
5. Place the finished courgettes in one row on a serving plate. Choose dishes that can be placed in the microwave. If you bake sandwiches in the oven, then put the zucchini on a baking sheet.
6. Season each courgette with minced garlic and squeeze out a drop of mayonnaise. Although the amount of mayonnaise can be adjusted depending on taste preferences. Sprinkle dill on top of the zucchini.
7. Place the tomato rings on top of the zucchini. Season them with a pinch of salt.
8. Pass the garlic on them through a press.
9. Also drizzle with mayonnaise to taste. You can use sour cream or soft cream cheese instead of mayonnaise.
10. Cover the tomatoes with a cheese slice and microwave. Keep it until the cheese melts. Since the power of each oven is different, adjust the baking time yourself. If you bake sandwiches in the oven, you can keep them until golden brown, if you like.
Serve the food to the table hot, although after cooling, the appetizer remains no less tasty. Note that you can experiment with this recipe. For example, instead of zucchini, use eggplant, replace hard cheese with processed cheese, etc.
