Sandwiches are prepared quickly from almost any product. A hot appetizer, unlike classic sandwiches, is baked in an oven. This makes them crispy and juicy. To make the sandwiches tastier, they are supplemented with other products. For example, cheese goes well with tomatoes, sausage, green basil, bell peppers, fried eggplant and zucchini rings … However, whatever you like best will do.

Step by step preparation of hot sandwiches with tomato and cheese, recipe with photo:
1. Cut the bread into equal slices 1 cm thick. If you want hot sandwiches to turn out more appetizing and juicy, grease the bread with sauce: mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard or make a combined sauce from any products. In this case, the sauce should not be too liquid, otherwise it will be absorbed into the bread, and the sandwiches will turn out to be "wet".
2. Wash the tomatoes, dry with a paper towel, cut into rings of 0.5-0.7 mm and place on the bread.
3. Cut the cheese into thin slices and place on top of the tomatoes.
4. Send sandwiches to a plate and microwave.
5. With microwave power, cook sandwiches for 50-60 seconds. If the power is more or less, then watch the consistency of the cheese. Once it has melted, the sandwich is considered ready to eat. Do not subject hot sandwiches with tomatoes to prolonged heat treatment, otherwise the juice from the tomatoes will evaporate and drain onto the bread, making the appetizer wet. When serving hot sandwiches with tomato and cheese, you can garnish with a sprig of fresh herbs or green peas.
