If you often suffer from colds and your immunity needs to be restored, then in the summertime try to replenish the vitamin balance at the expense of berries and fruits. Pay special attention to berries with a high content of vitamin C. Today we will talk about black currants. This sweet and sour berry is not only tasty, but also rich in vitamin C, as well as other useful components.
In addition to currants, add kefir, oatmeal and ice to the smoothie. It is better not to add sugar, but if you want something sweet, it is better to use 1–2 tsp. honey. This smoothie is good to drink on an empty stomach or a couple of hours before bedtime.

Step-by-step preparation of kefir and black currant smoothies
Add all the ingredients to the blender bowl. If you are using frozen currant berries, dip them in boiling water for a couple of seconds or let them thaw a little. They will add fluffiness to your smoothie and won't break your blender.
Beat all ingredients for 3 minutes at maximum speed.
You need to drink the smoothie right away. Garnish with mint sprigs and fresh berries when serving.
What other drink options can you make? Grab yogurt, ripe bananas and black currants for a hearty smoothie. No kefir or yogurt? Take orange juice. No juice? Milk will do. Flaxseed or oatmeal will add satiety and smoothie health benefits. Which one will you cook?
