In addition, under strong pressure or impact, it will bend and dents may remain on the surface. Also, do not paste over the walls with Polyphom in a damp room. The material has poor vapor permeability, so such a building will not "breathe".

The Hungarian company of the same name produces the material Polifoam. You can purchase goods in Russia through official distributors or in retail hardware stores.
The price of insulation under the Polyfom wallpaper may differ in some regions. On average, it is 1,500 rubles per roll. When buying this thermal insulation material, consider the following recommendations:
- The insulator under the trade name Polifom is manufactured by Polifoam Ltd Co. If any other manufacturer is listed on the packaging, then this is a fake, the purchase of which is recommended to be refused.
- High-quality Polyfum is pasted over with paper on both sides. It should be dense enough and have an even white color without streaks, streaks and roughness. Try peeling a corner of the paper off the plastic backing. If you succeeded without difficulty, then the material is of poor quality. The storage conditions may not have been respected.
- Smell the insulation with Polyph under the wallpaper. Ideally, it shouldn't smell like anything.
- A high-quality heat insulator must be dense, resilient and elastic. Try to break it. If this works out without effort, then the material is of poor quality.
Brief installation instructions for Polyphom
It is quite easy to glue on walls with Polyf, and even a beginner can cope with this work. The main thing is to follow the instructions and perform all the work in stages:
- We prepare the base surface. To do this, remove old wallpaper, dirt, peeling plaster from the walls. If there are large depressions or bumps (more than 5 millimeters), we align and putty.
- After plastering the surface, we treat it with a deep penetration primer to improve adhesion.
- We are preparing the canvas of Polyphomus. We make accurate measurements of the wall, cut pieces of material of the required size.
- For gluing the insulator, it is recommended to use an adhesive designed for non-woven and vinyl wallpaper. This is usually PVA.
- If the room is too humid, then baguette glue or "liquid nails" should be used.
- We apply the composition to the canvas and leave it for 5-10 minutes.
- We apply the Polyph to the wall and press it, smoothing it with a special spatula in different directions.
- We glue the next strip strictly end-to-end with the previous one.
- The joints between the canvases can also be glued with masking tape. This will provide additional strength to the coating.
- We leave Polyf to dry before proceeding with wallpapering. It usually takes 72 hours to dry completely.
