As culinary practice shows, apples are great not only in desserts, but also in other sweet dishes. And fruit flavors combined with meat are no longer a new story, but always spectacular! So, in this recipe you will learn how to bake apples stuffed with meat. This fruit and meat dish turns out to be very effective and original. You can use any minced meat for the dish that is at hand. This can be pork, chicken, turkey, bacon, brisket, etc.
Since the food looks beautiful, it can be prepared for a festive table. In addition, the dish is easily digestible, which is important and very tasty. And what is also nice is that the cooking time takes no more than 20 minutes, and the ingredients can be found in almost every home. It is also worth noting that the dish has no seasonality, because apples can be bought at any time of the year. But you need to choose them for a recipe that are dense and strong, so that during the baking process they do not lose their shape.
Well, and how else not to say about the benefits of the dish. I think everyone knows that baked apples are much healthier than fresh fruits. They contain vitamins and valuable minerals. They are recommended for high "bad" cholesterol, they treat constipation and intestinal dysbiosis. Therefore, this dish is not only tasty, but also healthy.

Cooking apples stuffed with minced meat:
1. Wash the meat and pat dry with a paper towel. If there are conductors, cut them off. Fat can be removed at will, if you like hearty and fatty dishes, you can leave it. Install the meat grinder and twist the meat through it.
2. Peel the walnuts, break the kernels into medium-sized pieces and add them to the minced meat. If desired, you can roast the nuts in a clean, dry frying pan. Season the minced meat with salt and pepper and mix well. You can also add any spices and herbs to the minced meat. For example, ground cinnamon or ground nutmeg powder works well.
3. Wash the apples and pat dry with a paper towel. Choose them that are dense, sturdy and stable. Also try to match them all to the same size so they cook at the same time. Cut off the caps from each apple, but do not throw them away, they will be useful for baking.
4. Carefully so as not to damage the walls of the apple, cut the core out of them to form a funnel for the filling. The pulp is not useful for the recipe, so you can eat it or use it for another dish.
5. Fill the apples with minced meat. Fill them tightly and with a slide, because when baking, the minced meat will decrease in size.
6. Cover the apples with the caps you cut from them. Place the apples in the muffin tins to prevent the apples from turning over during baking. This way they will hold on better.
7. Heat the oven to 180 degrees and send the apples to bake for 20-30 minutes. Do not overdo them for too long, otherwise the apple may become soft and lose its shape. Serve the finished meal hot, freshly prepared.
