Asparagus is used both baked and stewed or canned. It is great both as an independent dish and as a side dish for meat, poultry or fish. Today I suggest you decide to buy fresh green asparagus at the bazaar or in the supermarket and cook it in the oven with cheese. You will definitely like it! The recipe is very simple, and it is made in two steps: first, the asparagus is boiled, then baked in the oven with cheese. The whole cooking process will take less than an hour, while the food will turn out to be hearty, tasty and low-calorie, and most importantly healthy. And the asparagus itself turns out to be a little crispy, but soft and with a stretching tender cheese.

Ingredients:
- Asparagus beans - 500 g
- Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Vegetable oil - for greasing the baking sheet
- Red wine - 2 tablespoons
- Hard cheese - 100 g
- Ground black pepper - a pinch
- Salt - 1 tsp or to taste
- Mustard - 1 tsp
Step by step cooking asparagus in the oven with cheese, recipe with photo:
1. Wash the asparagus under running cold water.
2. Place it in a saucepan, cover with water and boil. Season with salt, reduce temperature to minimum, cover and cook for 5 minutes. Do not digest it for longer, otherwise some of the nutrients will boil out.
3. Tip the asparagus into a strainer to drain the water. Cool it a little so as not to burn yourself and cut off the ends on both sides. Then cut it into pieces into 2-3 pieces, so that it is convenient to eat it.
4. Grease the baking sheet in which you will bake it with a thin layer of vegetable oil and put the asparagus in one row.
5. Prepare the sauce. Combine wine, mustard, soy sauce, some salt and black pepper. Mix well.
6. Pour the cooked sauce over the asparagus.
7. Grate the cheese on a coarse grater and sprinkle on the pods.
8. Heat the oven to 180 degrees and send the asparagus and cheese to bake for 15 minutes. If you want the cheese to brown, then bake the dish without a lid, if you want it to be stringy, then cover it with foil. If desired, you can pour the eggs over the asparagus and cook an even richer omelet in the oven.
