Zucchini is good in everything. They are tasty, affordable, healthy, combined with many products, which allows them to cook in the most unexpected combinations. Today I propose to consider a recipe for a hearty and at the same time low-calorie vegetable snack - turrets of zucchini and tomatoes with garlic and mayonnaise. This is a very tasty combination of products that diversifies the daily menu, and all family members will like it.
You can serve the appetizer hot, but it will also go with a bang and chilled. In addition, you can diversify it, for example, add fried eggplant, or sprinkle with cheese on top. The latter option is especially good if the turrets are still baked in the oven to melt the cheese. The main thing is that any improvisation of this dish will look spectacular on the table, because the appetizer has a festive look. Therefore, it can be safely served on the festive table.
It is best to use dairy zucchini for eating. Then they do not have to be peeled and seeds removed, which become rough and hard by the end of summer. And a young vegetable has a skin with seeds that is soft, tender and has a wide range of beneficial properties and vitamins.

Step by step cooking zucchini and tomato turrets
1. Wash the zucchini, pat dry with a dry cotton towel and cut into 7-8 mm rings. Do not cut them very coarsely, otherwise the appetizer will turn out to be too high, and it should be 1-2 bites.
2. Place the pan on the stove, add vegetable oil and heat. Add the courgettes, set to medium heat, and grill on one side for about 3-4 minutes until golden brown. Although you can adjust the degree of roasting yourself. To speed up the work, I advise you to use two pans.
3. Flip the courgettes over, season with salt and pepper and cook until cooked.
4. While the zucchini is roasting, wash, dry and cut the tomatoes into 5 mm rings. It is desirable that the diameter of the tomatoes is the same as that of the zucchini. Then the appetizer will look more beautiful.
5. Place the fried zucchini on a serving plate and season each circle with garlic, which is passed through a press.
6. Brush the zucchini with mayonnaise. Determine its amount yourself according to your taste. And if you keep the figure or watch your weight, then in general you can refuse mayonnaise or replace it with sour cream.
7. Place the tomato rings on the zucchini and season them lightly with salt.
8. Repeat the same process with the courgettes one more time: put them on top of the tomatoes, season with garlic, brush with mayonnaise.
9. The final stage of the turrets is tomatoes. Season them again with salt and minced garlic.
10. Serve the finished meal to the table. If you wish, you can decorate it with any greens on top.
