An egg roll is a great snack or light breakfast. Even a child can cook such a dish, the process is very fast, it looks impressive, the stomach is not heavy, the taste is light and rich at the same time. And the filling is very diverse: crab sticks, sausage, mushrooms, fish, meat, pate, cottage cheese and much more. I have a cheese and garlic filling today. The result is delicious circles. Serve the dish in a wide plate, and garnish with a sprig of greens if desired. Any hostess will be delighted with such a roll.
This recipe can help out when intruders are on the doorstep. After all, the main products for its preparation are always available at home. Well, you can come up with any filling, even sweet. Ingredients:
- Eggs - 4 pcs.
- Processed cheese - 200 g
- Hard cheese - 100 g
- Garlic - 2-3 cloves
- Salt - a pinch
- Mayonnaise - 50 g
- Refined vegetable oil - for lubricating baking parchment
Making an egg roll
1. Drive the eggs into a deep bowl.
2. Season them with a pinch of salt and whisk well, but do not foam.
3. Grate hard cheese on a coarse grater and add to the egg mass. Stir the food well.
4. Select a 20x30 cm baking sheet, line it with baking parchment, grease with vegetable oil and pour the egg mass. Heat the oven to 180 ° C and send the eggs to bake for 10-15 minutes. The egg crust is cooked very quickly, as soon as the eggs are ready, immediately remove them from the oven.
5. Remove the egg crust from the mold, place the reverse side on a flat surface, and carefully remove the baking parchment.
6. While the cake is baking, prepare the filling. To do this, grate the processed cheese. To make it easier to chafe, soak it in the freezer for about 20 minutes.
7. Peel the garlic and pass through a press.
8. Add mayonnaise and a pinch of salt to the container.
9. Stir the food well until smooth. Taste the filling. If desired, you can add finely chopped greens, crab sticks, chopped olives, etc.
10. Apply a thin layer of cheese filling onto the egg crust.
11. Gently roll the cake into a roll, pressing it down a little to make it tight.
12. Wrap the roll with cling film and leave to lie in the refrigerator for half an hour to fix its shape.
13. Then remove the cling film and cut the roll into rings about 5-7 mm thick and serve it on the table.
