This vegetable is not only healthy, but also due to its bright color, the products are beautiful in color. But today I propose to supplement the composition of the test with bovine colostrum, which is also now in seasonal time.
Baked colostrum is incredibly tasty on its own. Its taste is difficult to compare with anything. Depending on the cooking time, it becomes either softer or denser. Despite the fact that there are few recipes for making a dessert from colostrum, baking with it turns out to be very tasty.
It is worth noting that colostrum from a cow has tremendous benefits. It is a natural source of essential ingredients that contribute to the restoration and maintenance of the immune system. Cow colostrum is also able to fight autoimmune diseases and allergic reactions. The product has regenerating, nourishing, protective and anti-aging properties. Ingredients:
- Pumpkin - 200 g
- Sugar - 100 g
- Kefir or sour milk - 250 ml
- Baking soda - 1 tsp without top
- Ground orange peel - 1 tsp
- Bovine colostrum - 150 g
- Eggs - 1 pc.
- Salt - a pinch
- Flour - 350 g
Step by step cooking pumpkin muffins with cow colostrum, recipe with photo:
1. Kefir at room temperature, or better warm, pour into a bowl for kneading dough. Kefir should be just warm, since soda reacts with fermented milk products only at warm temperatures.
2. Add colostrum to kefir and grind it with a blender until smooth. Colostrum and all subsequent products should be warm, so as not to cool the temperature of kefir. Therefore, remove these foods from the refrigerator beforehand.
3. Then add eggs to the liquid base and mix with a blender until smooth.
4. Add sugar, salt and orange peel to the food.
5. Puree the pumpkin. To do this, peel it, remove the seed box with fibers and wash. Cut it into pieces and cook for 20 minutes until tender. Check the readiness with a puncture with a knife or fork: they should easily pierce the pumpkin. Then drain all the water, and grind the pumpkin with a blender or crush until a puree consistency.
6. Send the pumpkin puree to the dough.
7. Whisk the food until it is evenly distributed throughout the mass.
8. Add finely sieved flour to the food to enrich it with oxygen and make the baked goods more tender. Also add baking soda to the dough.
9. Mix the dough with a mixer until smooth. Its consistency should be like thick sour cream.
10. Pour the dough into small silicone muffin tins, filling 2/3 of the way. it will rise during baking. If the molds are iron, then grease them first with butter or vegetable oil.

12. Heat the oven to 180 degrees and send pumpkin muffins with cow colostrum to bake for 15-20 minutes. Check their readiness with a puncture in the middle of baking with a wooden stick. You can soak hot baked goods with any syrup. Remove muffins from molds after cooling. Because they are very fragile when hot and can break.
