Prohormones are often used by "natural" bodybuilders as an alternative to steroids. Learn how to properly use them in your bodybuilding workouts. When choosing training methods, one should first of all proceed from the individual characteristics of athletes. For this reason, it is very difficult to make recommendations to a wide audience. However, there are general trends for making progress.
This primarily refers to muscle building. When using steroids, this is easy to do and athletes achieve good results. It is much more difficult for naturals to achieve high-quality muscle pumping. But when using prohormones in bodybuilding workouts, this is easier to do.
All professional bodybuilders have their own training methods and techniques. However, they all use pumping and try to maintain this state for as long as possible. First of all, this can be achieved by frequent training.
At rest, blood flows away from the muscles. However, during the start of a workout, when the muscles contract, blood rushes to the tissues and the muscles swell. Strength training can increase the amount of blood in muscle tissue up to 20 times. When you use prohormones, they travel with the blood to the muscles. It is very important that the prohormones are in the muscles, since otherwise their effect on the body will be insufficient for muscle growth.
How to fill muscles with blood?
Of course, many athletes now have a question - where to get the required amount of blood. After all, a lot of it is needed to fill the same quadriceps. It turns out that there are stores of blood in the body. These are the vessels that are located in the abdomen. When you are at rest, it contains blood, which, when the muscles begin to work, rushes to their tissues. After the end of the lesson, the blood again enters the storage facilities, taking with it some of the prohormones. It is clear that at this point prohormones no longer take part in the training of a bodybuilder.
Thus, the amount of prohormones entering the bloodstream after training should be limited. This can be achieved by doing two sessions per day. It is for this reason that professionals train twice a day. This allows blood to be constantly in the muscle tissues, bringing steroid or prohormone molecules there in the case of natural athletes.
Since a large amount of blood is in the vessels of the abdomen, you can speed up its flow to the muscles. To do this, at the very beginning of the training session, you should thoroughly work on the abdominal muscles. Thanks to their contractions, blood from the storage will go to the general circulatory system. The greater this amount of blood, the stronger the heart will begin to work, which will allow you to prepare the body for an intense workout.
The pump is applicable to all muscle groups. For example, you are going to work on biceps. Therefore, it is necessary to direct there the maximum amount of blood that will bring prohormones to the biceps tissues. Start with light machine curl sets. This will allow you to target muscles and warm them up. The exercise should be performed at a fast pace, and do from 3 to 4 sets of 20 or 25 repetitions each. However, every movement should be monitored. Also, to increase blood flow in muscle tissues, you can reduce the range of motion and not lower your arms to the end.
You can also do stretching exercises between sets. Start with a small amplitude, gradually increasing it. Stretch your biceps alternately, this will increase the effectiveness of the exercises. Thus, when stretching, you can solve the following problems:
- Relax your muscles, which will speed up their recovery between sets;
- Increase blood flow to target muscle tissues;
- Increase the amount of prohormones in the muscles;
- Increase the sensitivity of the muscles to the male hormone by increasing the number of androgen receptors.
When performing the first sets for pumping, you may feel a moderate burning sensation in the muscles, but you need to strive for more. When the prohormones enter the muscle tissue along with the blood, it will be necessary to activate the processes of converting metabolites into testosterone, which will create muscles for you. The burning sensation increases the activity of muscle enzymes, under the influence of which androstenedione is converted into testosterone.
A very effective way to increase the burning sensation in the muscles is a slightly modified training scheme "21". Traditionally, this technique consists of performing 7 repetitions in the lower part of the range of motion, seven in the upper and the same number with full amplitude. But to achieve a burning sensation in the muscles, you have to do 10 repetitions, instead of 7. When doing the exercises, you should use less weight compared to the working one.
To get the most out of your prohormones in your bodybuilding workout, you should increase the frequency of all muscle groups. This will allow a large amount of blood to be maintained in the muscle tissues for as long as possible. However, frequent training does not mean hard at all.
Your main goal is to pump blood from storage to your muscles. To do this, at the final phase of the training, light work with a large number of repetitions should be performed. It should also be said that it is very important, if your main activity is in the evening, to find an opportunity to do at least the minimum amount of light work in the morning.
This is due to the fact that, as mentioned above, when using the pumping method, it is necessary to carry out two workouts per day, the interval between which should be about 12 hours.
