Pour water into a basin, lower the product that you will decorate here. Moisten it evenly and wring it out. Place the blank on an inverted glass cup, tie a knot on top with an elastic band.
Now dip the pipettes or hollow sticks, holding them up, into the paint. Bring this tool to the top. Drop a few drops here.
Then take a different shade of paint and apply it to the top of your workpiece as well. Due to the fact that the fabric is well moistened with water, the paint will spread evenly, leaving beautiful strokes.

There is also a very interesting technique for dyeing fabric with plants. It is also called a media print. The beauty of such a product is that you can capture your favorite flowers, plants that you saw in nature, bringing them home.
Plants dyeing fabric
Here's what you need to work:
- a piece of silk;
- vinegar;
- plant branches or leaves;
- stretch film;
- wooden stick;
- pot;
- mild detergent;
- ropes.
Wash silk in a mild detergent. Lay the stretch film on the table, place the prepared piece of silk on it.
Stretch the scarf so that there are no wrinkles on it. Place your plants here. In this case, two types of eucalyptus are used here.
Tear off the leaves from the branches and spread them evenly on the surface of the fabric.
Place small ones between large ones. Spread the leaves and spray with vinegar from a spray bottle. Do not wet too much, as the fabric should only be slightly damp. Now cover the silk with the other half of this material and press gently at first with your hands, and then roll with a rolling pin. But to do this, first cover the top with stretch wrap.
Now you need to gradually fold the scarf, roll each section with a rolling pin wrapped in stretch film. To dye the fabric further, continue in the same way. Then roll the prepared canvas with a roll and rewind it with threads.
Now take a large saucepan, place the grate on the legs, for example, from the grill down and place the roll here. Pour water into a container.
All this must be boiled for two to three hours. Turn off the heat and leave the roll in the container to cool completely. Now you need to remove the wrapping and you can carefully unfold the bale.
Remove the leaves, do not throw them away. They will also come in handy if you want to dye the second scarf. But its coloring will be weaker. You can compare the brightness of the colors in the following two photos.
As you can see, fresh leaves are brighter in color. But for now, we need to finish the print to the end. Dry the scarf by leaving it overnight. You will wash it the very next day.

DIY floral print
