- Chicken - 0.5 carcasses (or any parts of the bird)
- Salt - 1 tsp or to taste
- Tomatoes - 2-3 pcs.

- Onions - 1 pc.

- Greens - a small bunch
- Garlic - 3 cloves
Step by step cooking stewed chicken with tomatoes, onions and herbs, recipe with photo:
1. Wash and dry the chicken with a paper towel. If unsweetened feathers are present, remove them. Cut the bird into slices. If you want the dish to be less high-calorie, then remove the skin from the chicken, because it contains the maximum amount of fat. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet and add the poultry. Fry the poultry over a little over medium heat until golden brown on all sides. Make sure that the chicken is not piled up in a pile, otherwise it will be stewed, not fried, which will make it less juicy.
2. Peel the onions, wash, cut into small cubes and fry in a frying pan in vegetable oil until transparent.
3. Wash the tomatoes, dry them, cut them into small pieces and place them in the pan with the onions. Then add chopped garlic and finely chopped herbs.
4. Season the food with salt and black pepper and simmer the sauce covered over low heat for 5-7 minutes.
5. Place the fried chicken in the vegetable dressing.
6. Cover the pan with a lid, boil and over low heat, under the lid, cook the chicken stew with tomatoes, onions and herbs for 45 minutes. Serve your meal with any side dish.
