The pear is the most famous fruit after apples. It is great not only for baking, but also for meat as a side dish, for example, pork. Today I propose to cook fried pork with pears in red wine. Step-by-step recipe with a photo. Video recipe.
The pear is used as a filling for stuffed goose, duck or chicken. But no less tasty is the recipe for cooking pork stewed with pears in red wine. The meat is tender, juicy and aromatic. The hearty smell of pork is mixed with a sweet fruity note and enveloped in a wine symphony … It is impossible to tear yourself away from such a dish and it is impossible to stop overeating. If you cook such pork for dinner, then it will immediately fly off the table. You can serve the dish with a glass of wine and fresh vegetable salad, or with a potato or rice garnish - I chose the first option. This dish is especially suitable for a festive table.
The minimum amount of food is used for the recipe. Pork tenderloin is best for meat, although this is the cook's choice. Take pears ripe, but dense enough. Since they will be stewed for half an hour, and overripe specimens will boil into porridge. If desired, close to the end of cooking, you can add fresh spicy herbs - thyme, sage or rosemary. Also, coarsely chopped leeks will be appropriate in the composition.

Step by step cooking of fried pork with pears in red wine, recipe with photo:
1. Wash the pork and dry it with a paper towel. Cut off unwanted film, grease and veins. Cut the meat into slices across the medium grains. Heat the vegetable oil well in a skillet and add the meat to it. The pork must be in a single layer in the pan for it to cook. Otherwise, if it is piled up in a mountain, it will begin to release juice, and will immediately be stewed.
2. Fry the pork over high heat until golden brown, which seals all the edges and the juice remains in the meat. Cook the meat for about 10 minutes.
3. Wash the pears, dry with a paper towel and cut into slices into 6-8 pieces, depending on the size. Then send them to the meat pan.
4. Pour dry wine into the pan, season the food with salt and black pepper. Add your favorite spices, spices and herbs as desired.
5. Stir the ingredients, cover the pan with a lid, turn the temperature to the lowest setting and simmer for half an hour. Serve the prepared fried pork with pears in red wine after cooking, pouring the sauce in which it was stewed over the meat.
