- Potatoes - 4-5 pcs. medium size
- Salt - 1 tsp or to taste
- Fat (any) - for frying
- Ground black pepper - 0.5 tsp or to taste

Step by step cooking stewed potatoes in the oven, recipe with photo:
1. Homemade chicken skin is used as the fat in this recipe. Cut it into pieces of any size.
2. In a saucepan with a thick bottom and walls, put the chicken skins and turn on a medium, or preferably low heat.
3. Melt the skins so that there is enough fat in the saucepan. You can remove the greaves from the pan, or leave them to simmer with the potatoes. It's a matter of taste.
4. Meanwhile, peel the potatoes, wash and cut into medium-sized cubes.
5. Send prepared potatoes to the pot.
6. Turn on medium mode and fry the potatoes until golden brown.
7. Add salt, black pepper, bay leaf and peppercorns to the saucepan.
8. Fill the food with drinking water so that it completely covers the potatoes.
9. Close the pan with a lid and send the potatoes to stew in a preheated oven to 180 degrees for 1 hour 15 minutes. At the same time, the longer the potatoes languish in the oven, they will become more boiled. Therefore, adjust the degree of readiness yourself, depending on the desired result.
