They appeared in our country a very long time ago, but they came from Belarus. Using minced potatoes as a basis, the hostesses began experimenting with this dish, trying to add some new element to the dish. Some add different products to the minced meat, while others make a stuffed dish. Today we will talk about the second method of cooking, and we will use minced meat as a filling.

All products intended for this dish are quite commonplace and can be found in the kitchen in every home. Therefore, the dish is affordable and popular among housewives.   • Potatoes - 4 pcs.
  • Onions - 2 pcs.
  • Eggs - 2 pcs.
  • Ground black pepper - a pinch
  • Minced meat - 300 g
  • Salt - 1 tsp or to taste
  • Vegetable oil - for frying

Step by step cooking sorcerers with meat:

1. Peel and wash potatoes with onions.

2. Grate vegetables on the finest grater. I advise you to use a food processor with an appropriate attachment for this purpose. This will help you get the job done faster. Then transfer the vegetable mass to a fine sieve and leave for a while, you can press it down several times with a tablespoon. This is necessary in order for excess liquid to drain out.

3. Then transfer the vegetable puree to a deep bowl, add salt, ground pepper and eggs. You can also add any spices and herbs to taste.

4. Stir the mixture well.

5. Prepare the minced meat. Put it in a bowl, season with spices and pour in some water or broth, milk will also work.

6. Stir the minced meat. Its consistency should be slightly liquid, so the sorcerers will be juicier.

7. Place the pan on the stove, add oil and heat well. Reduce heat to medium setting and spoon over potato dough with a tablespoon.

8. Place some meat filling on top, spreading it over the entire area of the potato pancake.

10. Fry the pancakes on one side until golden brown, about 4-5 minutes, and turn them over. Do not make the fire very large, otherwise the potato pancakes will quickly burn, and the filling will remain damp. At the same time, do not make the flame very small, so the dish will not fry well. Serve hot with sour cream or any sauce. For example, it is delicious to serve the dish with mushroom or garlic sauce.
