And some Bulgarian culinary delights are quite similar to ours, and all products can be found in the nearest store at an affordable price. If you want to pamper yourself and your family with a new dish, take a look at the national cuisines. Today we'll talk about how to cook mish-mash in Bulgarian, which means "mishmash". This is one of the most popular dishes in Bulgaria, which is scrambled eggs or omelet, with sweet peppers, tomatoes and feta cheese. Regular foods, an uncomplicated recipe, and a simple omelet turn into a flamboyant treat. This is a very tasty and satisfying dish, which is most often served for lunch with slices of bread toasted in a toaster or grilled.
In the original version, the pepper is used pre-baked and peeled. In Bulgarian cuisine, it is baked in a special chushkopek oven. In our country, there is no chushkopeka, so basically pepper for mish-mash is not baked, but simply stewed with tomatoes in a pan. Tomatoes and peppers in the summer, take seasonal sweet and aromatic, and in the winter, greenhouse or frozen are suitable. Of course, the quality of the vegetables affects the taste of the finished dish, but the omelet will still be delicious.

Ingredients:
- Sweet red bell pepper - 1 pc.
- Salt - 0.5 tsp or to taste
- Onions - 1 pc.
- Tomatoes - 1 pc.
- Greens (any) - several branches
- Vegetable oil - for frying
- Cheese - 100 g
- Eggs - 2 pcs.
Step-by-step preparation of mish-mash omelette in Bulgarian, recipe with photo:
1. Peel the onions, wash and cut into medium-sized cubes.
2. Cut the stalk from the sweet pepper, clean the seeds inside and cut off the partitions. Wash, dry and cut the fruits into cubes.
3. Wash the tomatoes, dry with a napkin and cut into cubes.
4. Cut the cheese into slices.
5. Wash the eggs, break the shells and pour out the contents and deep container.
6. Season the eggs with salt and stir until smooth with a fork.
7. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet and add onions.
8. Then add the bell pepper and fry the vegetables over medium heat for about 5 minutes until a light brown crust forms.
9. Add chopped tomatoes to the vegetables.
10. Add feta cheese to the pan and stir the food.
11. Next, put the herbs. This recipe uses dried herbs, but frozen or fresh herbs will work as well.
12. Stir the food in a frying pan and pour over the egg mixture. Swirl the pan to distribute it evenly. Cover the skillet with a lid and cook the omelet over low heat until the eggs coagulate. Serve the ready-made mish-mash omelet in Bulgarian style to the table after cooking. You can serve it directly in the skillet, because it will keep the dish hot longer.
