Secrets of French chefs in making an omelet
- French chefs use neither a mixer nor a whisk to mix eggs: only a fork. Since the whipped mass will fall off into a foam after cooking.
- Do not season the omelet with a lot of spices. A lot of herbs will kill the original taste of the dish. The classic recipe for French omelet, as a rule, does not even include greens.
- Don't overcook the omelet. It collects or curls up into a tube when the mass is just beginning to set. Already folded, the dish has time to cook and acquires a delicate taste without a fried crust.
- The French omelette recipe allows melted butter to be added to the omelet mixture. This will make the dish softer and tastier.
