Step-by-step cooking of meatballs with tomato watering and vegetables
Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan, put onion, cut into cubes, and sweet pepper, cut into strips.
To make the tomato sauce more tender, remove the skin from the tomato. To do this, make a cross cut on each tomato and pour boiling water over them for 30 seconds. Cool the tomatoes immediately in ice water. Now, prying the skin with a knife, we easily remove it. Grind the tomatoes with an immersion blender. If there are no fresh vegetables, you can use tomato juice, tomatoes in their own juice, or tomato paste.
Add juice to sautéed vegetables. Add sour cream and spices immediately. We mix.
Now it's time for the meatballs. We put them in a frying pan and cover it with a lid. Simmer over low heat for 20-25 minutes, until the meatballs are cooked. Watch for the thickness of the gravy. If the fire is high, the liquid will quickly evaporate and the sauce may burn.
Ready-made meatballs are good both as an independent dish and in a duet with various side dishes. Bon appetit and a variety of dishes.
