Peel the onions, chop finely and begin to fry in vegetable oil in a preheated pan. When the onion pieces become transparent, add the ground paprika.
Remove the skin from the washed chicken thighs, if they are too large, cut into medium-sized pieces. For 10 minutes, we will simmer in a skillet with aromatic sauteed onions.
Let's prepare the tomato and pepper. Remove the seeds in the sweet pepper, cut the tomato a little, put it in a bowl of boiling water for 10 seconds, and then easily remove the skin. Cut the vegetables into small cubes and add to the chicken stew. Cook the meat for 15–20 minutes.
In a separate bowl, mix sour cream and wheat flour until smooth, add salt and a little black pepper.
Pour the chicken thighs with sour cream and simmer them for another 10 minutes under a closed lid over low heat, stirring occasionally, until the meat becomes soft and easily separates from the bone. The sauce will thicken during this time.
Serve hot chicken paprikash. Chop fresh parsley to garnish the chicken pieces. For a side dish, you can offer pasta, rice or potatoes.
