Step-by-step preparation of hake under a vegetable coat
1. First, of course, you should defrost the fish. We clean it from the husk, cut off all the fins and clean the abdomen. Although the last point is optional, the frozen hake is pretty well processed.
Now we cut the hake into portions 5-6 cm thick. Put the hake in a bowl and season with salt and pepper, in addition you can take Mediterranean herbs.
2. Roll each piece of fish in flour.
3. Pour vegetable oil into the pan and heat it well. Put the fish in a frying pan and fry until golden brown.
4. Turn over to the other side.
5. Meanwhile, in another frying pan (or the same one where the fish was fried), heat the oil and spread the grated carrots and chopped onions.
6. Pass them until soft.
7. Add tomato paste and sour cream to vegetables. Mix well. If there is not enough liquid, add water.
8. Now we shift the vegetables to the fish (or vice versa), cover the pan with a lid and simmer the fish for 15 minutes over medium heat.
9. Serve the dish hot. Bon Appetit.
