If you like cabbage dishes, then you will definitely like this recipe. This casserole will especially appeal to those who like to combine the tandem of meat with cabbage. This treat is perfect for a family lunch or dinner. It can also be served on a festive table. Even men who do not particularly like to eat vegetables will be happy to use such a casserole.
It is worth noting about the benefits of this dish. Cauliflower is great for satisfying hunger. It is almost completely absorbed by the body and is perfectly digested by the gastrointestinal tract. Boiled inflorescences are useful for diabetics, since cabbage normalizes cholesterol and blood glucose levels. - Cauliflower - 1 small head of cabbage
- Meat (any sort) - 300 g
- Ground black pepper - a pinch
- Basil - a few twigs
- Eggs - 3 pcs.
- Milk - 200 ml
- Salt - 1 tsp or to taste
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Hard cheese - 150 g
Step by step cooking cauliflower casserole with meat, recipe with photo:
1. Wash cauliflower and disassemble into inflorescences. Sometimes there are midges in it. To remove them, immerse the head in a container of cold water and let sit for 15 minutes. Moshkara will float to the surface of the liquid.
2. Wash the meat, cut off the films with veins, dry with a paper towel and cut into medium pieces. Peel the garlic, rinse and finely chop.
3. Dip the cabbage in boiling water and boil for 2-3 minutes. Tilt onto a sieve and leave to drain all the moisture.
4. Combine the eggs in a deep container and stir until the mixture becomes homogeneous.
5. Pour in milk and stir again.
6. Season with salt and pepper. Add finely chopped basil and any spices. I have sweet paprika and Italian spices.
7. Place the blanched cauliflower in a baking dish.
8. Top with pieces of meat and minced garlic.
9. Pour the milk and egg mass into the food.
10. Sprinkle the grated cheese on a medium grater on the casserole.
11. Preheat oven to 180 degrees and cook casserole for 45 minutes. For the first half hour, bake it under a lid or covered with cling foil. Then remove it and continue cooking for 15 minutes to brown the casserole.
12. Cool the finished dish a little so as not to burn yourself and serve. You don't need to serve anything else for the side dish, because the food is quite satisfying in its own form.
