For lovers of buckwheat, I present a delicious recipe with this cereal. A step-by-step recipe with a photo of pots with meat, buckwheat and zucchini in tomato sauce. Video recipe.
Buckwheat is used to prepare many different and delicious dishes: cereals, soups, casseroles, cutlets, pancakes, cookies … The groats are affordable, hearty and tasty. Of course, it is more suitable for the daily diet, and not the holiday menu. But the dish still turns out to be nutritious, and the cereals are crumbly and not dry. You can choose any type of meat for the dish. Buckwheat is cooked with pork, veal, lamb, chicken … It should be noted that buckwheat is a storehouse of useful vitamins and medicinal properties. Therefore, it is one of the products of dietary, healthy and proper nutrition. For the last menu, it is suitable because it contains the least carbohydrates than other cereals.
The method of cooking buckwheat with meat in pots was not chosen by chance. A dish cooked in the oven, in a ceramic or clay pot, turns out with a richer taste and aroma, is distinguished by tenderness, juiciness and mouth-watering appearance. The pot has thick walls that heats up slowly so that food cooks evenly on all sides. I must also say that meat in pots is stewed in its own juice or sauce. Therefore, most of the minerals will remain in the dish, which makes it much healthier. This dish is prepared quite quickly, so it is ideal for those who want tasty, satisfying and useful food for their relatives, while not having a lot of time.

Step by step cooking pots with meat, buckwheat and zucchini in tomato sauce, recipe with photo:
1. Wash the meat, cut off the film and excess fat. Dry it with a paper towel and cut into medium sized pieces.
2. Select pots and place the meat over them. If desired, the meat can be pre-fried in a pan, so the dish will be tastier, but at the same time fatter and more high-calorie.
Choose pots based on your needs. If you serve a dish to each eater in a separate pot, then a 250 ml capacity is enough. However, it can be served in one large pot, from which the treats can be poured into plates. Then the size of the container depends on the number of eaters. A capacity of 1 liter is sufficient for four people.
3. Rinse buckwheat under running water and pour into the pots in an even layer, covering the meat.
4. Wash the zucchini, cut into bars, rings, cubes … and arrange in the pots. This recipe uses frozen zucchini. But in the summer season, fresh fruits are suitable, and in the winter - dried, canned or harvested in another way.
5. Season food with salt and black pepper. Add tomato paste and any of your favorite spices.
6. Fill the food with drinking water so that it covers the food by 7-10 mm. Close the pots with a lid and send them to the oven at 180 degrees for the right amount of time, which depends on the selected type of meat.
Serve ready-made pots of meat, buckwheat and zucchini in tomato sauce to the table freshly prepared, straight from the oven and in the container in which they were cooked.
