Today I want to share a delicious and simple recipe for cooking zucchini with meat in pots. This recipe will not make you work for a long time and at home you can independently prepare this dish by spending the minimum amount of active time. If you are a lover of Russian cuisine in pots, then you probably will not give up the delicious roast in the oven. Of course, this dish is not for those who think about their figure and are afraid to gain extra pounds. But if desired, it can be made lighter and more dietary. To do this, you should only exclude frying foods, and immediately put them in raw form in pots and send them to cook in the oven.
It should be noted that zucchini is one of the most delicious vegetables that are very effective in the fight against excess weight. And given that they can be cooked in different ways, they will always be delicious and easily tolerated by the stomach. These vegetables should definitely be included in your diet. Ingredients:
- Meat (any sort) - 600 g
- Zucchini - 1 pc.
- Potatoes - 4 pcs.
- Onions - 1 pc.
- Garlic - 4 cloves
- Bay leaf - 4 pcs.
- Sour cream - 4 tablespoons
- Salt - 1 tsp or to taste
- Ground black pepper - a pinch
- Vegetable oil - for frying
Step by step cooking of zucchini with meat in pots:
1. Wash the meat under running water and pat it dry with a paper towel. Cut the veins with the foil and cut into medium-sized pieces. Place the pan on the stove, add oil and heat. Make a large flame and add the meat. Fry it over high heat until golden brown. It is not necessary to bring it to readiness, tk. it will still languish in the oven. It is necessary that it is only covered with a ruddy crust.
2. Add the diced courgettes and diced onions to the skillet. If the zucchini is mature, peel them first and remove the seeds. Screw on the temperature and fry the food over medium heat for about 7 minutes. At the end of the cooking season, season them with salt and ground pepper.
3. Select portion pots with a capacity of approximately 350 to 500 g for one eater and place the fried meat with zucchini and onions in them. Fill the pots halfway with food.
4. Peel the potatoes, wash, dice and fill the pots. One pot usually contains 1-1.5 tubers. Season them with salt, pepper and any spices.
5. Pour sour cream over the food, add bay leaf and finely chopped garlic.
6. Close the pot with a lid and send to the oven. Turn on 180 degrees and cook for about an hour until all ingredients are tender. Please note that the pots should be placed in a cold brazier. Since ceramic pots do not tolerate temperature extremes, they can crack. Serve hot.
