However, the hostesses do not stop there and add other products, as a result of which different dishes are obtained. Today we will cook a roast with meat and vegetables in a tomato sauce in the oven. Cooking in the oven is a pleasure. Foods prepared in this way retain all vitamins and nutrients. The dish turns out to be extremely tasty, because the languishing process takes a long time. You can take any type of meat for roast to your taste, but the most delicious dish is pork, because it is juicy, tender and gives the dish a unique taste.
For cooking, I used a large saucepan with a thick bottom and looms. But if you wish, you can cook it in portioned pots. In this case, the cooking time will be halved. In addition, water in the pots can quickly evaporate and will have to be topped up. Then pour liquid (water or broth) at hot temperature. Whichever way you cook roast in tomato sauce in the oven, it will turn out to be especially tasty, juicy and incredibly tender. This hearty dish will be appreciated by the most demanding gourmets.

Ingredients:
- Pork - 500 g
- Spices and herbs to taste
- Adjika - 1-2 tablespoons
- Vegetable oil - for frying
- Vegetable dressing - 1 tablespoon (in the presence of)
- Potatoes - 4 pcs.
- Salt - 1 tsp or to taste
- Tomato paste - 2-3 tablespoons
- Ground black pepper - a pinch
- Carrots - 2 pcs.
Step by step cooking roast with meat and vegetables in tomato sauce in the oven, recipe with photo:
1. Wash the meat, peel off the film, cut off excess fat and cut into medium pieces.
2. Peel the carrots, wash and cut into 1 cm thick bars, 2-3 cm long.
3. Peel the potatoes, wash and cut into 4-6 slices depending on the size of the tuber.
4. In a frying pan or saucepans in hot vegetable oil, fry the meat until golden brown.
5. Add the carrots to the pork and continue to fry until golden brown.
6. Add potatoes to the food, stir and fry a little until the potatoes acquire a ruddy color.
7. If you fried food in an oven-safe container, fill it with drinking water. Otherwise, transfer the fried food to a suitable dish and do the same.
8. Add adjika, tomato paste, vegetable seasoning to the food, salt and pepper. Stir the food, close the pan with a lid and send to a heated oven to 180 degrees for 1 hour. When serving the roast with meat and vegetables in tomato sauce in the oven, add finely chopped onions to each serving.
