Rice is one of the main cereals. It is the basis of nutrition for many countries, continents and families. Of the many different dishes with his participation, today I propose to cook fried rice with mushrooms. Such dishes are especially popular in China and South Asia. There are hundreds, if not thousands, of this dish. The most popular are pork, chicken, seafood and vegetarian (with wild garlic, peas, green onions, spinach, etc.). You can also experiment with sauces. Use fish instead of soy. Then the rice will not be spicy, but tasty and nutritious.
Cooking such a dish is quick and easy. It is customary to serve it immediately after cooking. For the future, they do not cook it for warming up, otherwise all the charm of the food will be lost. However, half of the work can be done beforehand, such as boiling rice. Note that rice should be cooked without salt. This recipe is also a great option for disposing of yesterday's rice leftovers. In the variant below, the dish can be served simultaneously as a side dish and as a main dish. It cooks quickly and can be a weekday dinner. Adults will appreciate the lightness and exquisite taste, while children will love the unusual color. It is also worth noting that this dish is lean and belongs to vegetarian dishes. Ingredients:
- Mushrooms (any) - 300 g
- Vegetable oil - for frying
- Ground black pepper - a pinch
- Spices and spices (any) - to taste
- Rice - 150 g
- Salt - 0.5 tsp or to taste
How to prepare fried rice with mushrooms step by step:
1. Wash the rice under running water. If you wash out the gluten as much as possible, it will be crumbly. To do this, change the water about 6-7 times, until it becomes clear. Then transfer it to a saucepan, fill with drinking water in a 1: 2 ratio and boil until tender. The water should be completely absorbed. Then cool the rice without stirring so as not to damage the structure of the rice.
2. Wash the mushrooms and cut into strips. For the dish, you can use champignons or oyster mushrooms. The easiest way to work with them. Frozen or canned fruits are also suitable. Pre-thaw frozen individuals at room temperature, rinse canned ones thoroughly.
3. Heat oil in a skillet and add mushrooms.
4. Fry them over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Bring to golden brown.
5. In another skillet, fry the cold boiled rice for about 3 minutes. Stir until it becomes crumbly and all the grains come loose.
6. Combine rice with mushrooms in one pan.
7. Stir, salt and pepper to taste. Top with soy or fish sauce, wine or apple cider vinegar if you wish. Add any herbs and spices. Stir, fry for 2-3 minutes and serve.
