Caviar is the same delicacy as fish milk. In terms of nutritional value, it significantly surpasses fish meat. Usually caviar of any fish is most often salted or fried in a pan. But when there is a lot of it, you start to invent new recipes and think about what to cook from it at home. For example, microwaved cod roe muffins are a delicious and satisfying snack! Lush, porous and grainy-caviar. The recipe is quite simple, the products included in the composition are available, and preparation does not take much time. You can serve such muffins on their own with a fresh vegetable salad, or with a side dish of mashed potatoes or other dishes.
For the recipe, not only cod caviar is suitable, but also silver carp, carp, crucian carp, pike perch, pike or assorted. It can be specially purchased or collected in the freezer when you buy fresh fish. And when there is enough of it, prepare a delicious dish. Muffins can be made with caviar in its original form, or with the addition of minced fish. You can also add a little cheese shavings, lemon juice, fish seasoning, herbs, spices … And if you want to make them more satisfying, add a spoonful of semolina. It will absolutely not be felt in the dish.

Ingredients:
- Fresh cod roe - 150 g
- Fish seasoning - 1 tsp
- Eggs - 1 pc.
- Ground black pepper - a pinch
- Salt - 0.5 tsp
Step-by-step preparation of cod roe muffins in the microwave, recipe with photo:
1. Pour raw eggs into a deep bowl.
2. Beat the eggs with a mixer until fluffy, smooth and lemon-colored.
3. Place the fish roe in a sieve and rinse under running cold water. Then pre-grind it through a fine sieve to remove the film in which it is located. You can also beat it and grind it with a blender into a more homogeneous mass. Then add the eggs to the egg mass.
4. Season food with salt and black pepper and add fish seasoning. Add any foods you want. But do not put too many of them, so as not to kill the taste of fish caviar.
5. Stir the food well with a spoon or mixer until smooth.
6. Pour the minced meat into portioned silicone molds or any other container that can be placed in the microwave oven.
7. Send the items to microwave to cook. If the microwave power is 850 kW, the cod roe muffins will be ready in 3-4 minutes. If the power of the appliance is different, adjust the cooking time. The appetizer can be served both hot and chilled.
