If the caviar is in a film, you can fry it in whole pieces, if without it, just salt and stir everything. Step by step cooking fried cod roe, recipe with photo:
1. I had caviar in a film, which can be left by cutting the caviar like into chops and frying it on both sides. But I decided to fry it just with individual eggs. Therefore, first put it in a fine sieve and wash it under running water. Then carefully remove the film from both sides.
2. Chop the caviar into smaller pieces with a knife.
3. Place the pan on the stove and heat it up. Heat medium and place the caviar.
4. Season it with black pepper salt and fish seasoning.
5. Stir the caviar evenly over the entire bottom of the pan.
6. Continue roasting the caviar, stirring occasionally. When it turns white and has a crumbly texture, remove the pan from heat. Serve the cooked fried cod roe warm or chilled. It can be used for filling in pancakes or as a component in a salad.
