Thinsulate is a synthetic artificial filler that is lightweight and highly insulated. He does not hinder movements and is not demanding in leaving. It is used for sewing ski suits, overalls, winter jackets, hats, blankets and sleeping bags.
Thinsulate consists of a large number of microfibers, 10 times thinner than a human hair, which makes it possible to make a lightweight, yet thin insulation with good thermal insulation. It is a soft and pliable material with a down-like structure. However, things from it after washing do not change their shape, do not deform, and the filler does not go astray. Therefore, washing them at home is very easy.

How to wash clothes on Thinsulate - useful recommendations

Handwash
Choose a container in accordance with the dimensions of the garment so that it lies freely in a straightened position. For adults, a bath is suitable, for children - a large basin. Fill the container with warm or slightly cool water up to 40 ° C, dissolve the liquid detergent and soak the item so that it is completely covered with water, otherwise the inner layer will not get wet. If the clothes have stains, wash them first by rubbing them with a brush. Usually these are collars, cuffs, pockets, bottom of trousers.
When the stains are washed off, beat the item a little under water and wash gently. Remove the product from the liquid and let the dirty water drain out a little. Then rinse thoroughly, dipping it several times in clean and cold water to wash out the soapy solution, which can leave streaks.
Please note that the thinsulate must not be twisted, squeezed or squeezed during and after washing.
Machine wash
If there are stubborn stains on the jacket, first wash them by hand with gel, then transfer the clothes to the washing machine. Drying
After hand or machine wash, hang the garment in the bathtub or over a basin to drain off excess water. When the water stops dripping from the clothes, lay them horizontally on a towel, special dryer or ironing board for final drying. For better ventilation, you can open the windows slightly. Thinsulate dries quickly, about 3-4 hours, but sometimes the time can take 8-10 hours. It depends on the material from which the thing is sewn.
Do not dry thinsulate on radiators, heaters and near heaters where the temperature exceeds 40 ° C. Let me remind you that the insulation does not tolerate high temperatures. It is undesirable to hang the product on the balcony with clothespins. Only room temperature will preserve all the properties of the material and the original appearance of the thing.
Ironing
If there is no need for ironing, then it is best to avoid it. It is better to lay out the clothes immediately after washing as evenly as possible so that you do not have to iron. If after drying there are folds, then sprinkle the product with water from the spray bottle, straighten it and dry it again. And if you still have to use an iron, then heat it no higher than 40 ° C and guide it carefully, without pressing it to the surface.
