This salad is very easy to prepare, no more than 10 minutes, especially if there is already a prepared beetroot in the refrigerator. Beets for this dish can be prepared in two ways: boil in water on the stove or bake in the oven. I think every housewife knows how to cook it - wash it, add water, season with a little salt and cook for about 2 hours until soft. This is also considered a gentle way of cooking, because all useful substances are not digested, but remain in the root crop. Well, the advantages of the product are so numerous that you cannot say about all of them. In a nutshell, the root vegetable purifies the blood, helps to lose weight, and fights stress! In general, this is not a vegetable, but just some kind of miracle.
I would like to note about this salad that it is considered an excellent soil for preparing not only healthy, but also interesting dishes. And since the independent taste of pure beets does not suit everyone's heart and taste, then nuts will come to the rescue, and garlic for piquancy. Although this set of products can be easily supplemented with any dried fruits: raisins, dried apricots or prunes. As a salad dressing, not only vegetable oil is suitable, but also mayonnaise, sour cream or yogurt. You can also enrich the taste of the dish with various types of oils (olive, sesame).

- Beets - 2 pcs.
- Walnuts - 50 g
- Garlic - 2 cloves or to taste

Cooking beetroot salad with nuts
1. Prepare the beets first. How, I described above. I had it baked, which greatly ennobled the taste of the finished salad. So, peel the cooled root vegetables and grate (coarse).
2. Peel the garlic and squeeze it through a press into a salad bowl. If you love this spicy vegetable, then you can put more of it in the dish.
3. Walnuts, if they are in the shell, then peel. The kernels, if desired, can be pre-calcined in a dry frying pan over medium heat. But then keep in mind that during frying, a certain portion of vitamins will be lost from them.
Break the kernels of the prepared nuts into pieces of any size you like.
4. All ingredients have been prepared, so all that remains is to season the salad with vegetable oil. If you will supplement your meal with dried fruits (raisins, dried apricots, prunes), then they must first be soaked in hot water, then dried and cut.
5. Stir the prepared salad and chill a little in the refrigerator.
6. Place the dish in a serving bowl and serve. By the way, when serving, you can supplement it with a green onion. It goes well with these products.
