This is a very healthy food, because beets are a source of folate, which is essential for pregnant women. Beets for salads can be prepared in several ways. The first is to boil, the second is to bake. Moreover, with the second method of cooking, much more useful vitamins are retained in the root crop, which, unfortunately, part of it is digested during cooking.
This salad is prepared very quickly, its cost is inexpensive, and it is especially suitable for those who want to lose weight. It can be attributed to dietary and low-calorie meals. It should be noted that walnuts, which are part of the dish, are no less useful than beets. They affect mental abilities, give energy and strength. The salad dressing can vary to suit your taste, which makes this salad great. The dish can be served as a light dinner as an independent dish or as a side dish for meat or mashed potatoes.

Ingredients:
- Beets - 1 pc.

Step by step preparation of salad from beets, soft cheese and nuts, recipe with photo:
1. Cut the processed cheese into small cubes or grate. If it does not cut well, soak it in the freezer for 10-15 minutes.
2. Prepare the beets in advance, for example, boil a few days in advance, a couple of tubers and store them in the refrigerator for about a week. Make a delicious salad whenever you want. If you choose to bake the beets in the oven, wrap them in foil and place them in the oven. Bake at 180-200 degrees for 1-1.5 hours. The specific time depends on the size of the root crop: small ones will bake faster (in half an hour), large ones take longer (up to 1, 5 hours). Peel the finished chilled beets and cut into medium cubes.
3. Place the chopped food in a bowl and add the chopped walnuts, which are pre-cooked in a clean, dry skillet.
