We will learn how to cook bruschetta with feta cheese and tomato. This is a great snack for any occasion - simple and delicious. Step-by-step recipe with a photo. Video recipe.
Sandwiches, canapes, toast, tartlets … how long we've been through the "snack bar fashion". Now bruschetta topped the rating. This is a traditional Italian snack, a close relative of sandwiches. The basis of any bruschetta is dried bread without vegetable oil on charcoal or grill. In the absence of such an opportunity, it is quite possible to fry bread in the oven on a wire rack, microwave oven, toaster or in a frying pan.
Fillings for such a snack can be very diverse. The classics of the genre are tomatoes, garlic and basil. But it is prepared with a variety of products: salmon, avocado, tuna, mushrooms, prosciutto ham, olives, all types of cheeses, etc. There are sweet recipes for appetizers with fresh berries, fruits and soft cheeses. Whichever filling you choose, bruschetta is a good pre-dinner aperitif, a great option for breakfast and a buffet table. Ruddy croutons can be taken on a picnic and prepared for a quick snack. I propose a recipe for bruschetta with feta cheese and tomato. Cheese will perfectly complement the taste of tomatoes, and the appetizer will perfectly increase your appetite.

Ingredients:
- Bread - 2 slices
- Cheese - 100 g
- Tomatoes - 1 pc. medium size
- Olive oil - 2 tsp
- Cilantro - 2 branches
Step by step preparation of bruschetta with feta cheese and tomato, recipe with photo:
1. Take any bread for the recipe: white, black, loaf, with bran, rye, baguette, etc. Cut it into slices about 1 cm thick and dry on both sides in a way convenient for you. As I wrote above, bread can be dried in a frying pan, toaster, oven, grill.
2. Saturate the dried bread with olive oil.
3. Wash the tomatoes, dry and cut into small pieces. Choose a variety of tomatoes with a dense pulp so that there is not a lot of juice, which soaks the bread, which should not be. Cut the cheese into cubes.
4. Stir the tomatoes with the feta cheese. Cheese can be replaced with any other white cheese. But if the cheese is not particularly salty, like feta cheese, then season the filling with salt.
5. Put tomatoes with feta cheese on the bread.
6. Wash cilantro greens, dry and decorate the sandwich. Serve bruschetta with feta cheese and tomato immediately after cooking. It is not customary to cook it for the future.
