An insipid thin lavash leaf has imperceptibly become quite popular and even sometimes irreplaceable product for our modern housewives, since many different and delicious dishes can be prepared from it. It is convenient to have such pita bread on hand, because if something needs to be cooked, then you do not need to knead the dough, and you will not have to waste time on baking. Any food can be placed in it: fish, vegetables, minced meat, cheese, eggs, canned food, fruits and berries. But lavash gained particular popularity due to the preparation of rolls. After all, you can wrap absolutely anything you want in it, from carrots to red fish. Products for rolls are usually flavored with mayonnaise or various sauces so that they are better saturated.
Thanks to such a wide variety of lavash applications, cooked snacks are becoming especially popular, not only on an everyday table, but also on a festive table, where sometimes they occupy a central place. Of course, for celebrations, more refined fillings are most often used, such as salmon, trout, red caviar, smoked meat products. For the everyday table, you can use simpler products: carrots, cheese with garlic, canned fish.
It is better to use the sheets of pita bread for making rolls of a rectangular shape. They usually fold it along, then a not too thick "sausage" will come out. The finished roll must be given time to lie down and soak so that it is not dry. After that, it is cut into slices in portions. But the thickness of the pieces depends on the place of application. If this is a festive table, then the size is generally 1 cm, 4 cm is suitable for a picnic, and if you take it with you on the road, then you can divide it into equal parts corresponding to the number of eaters. The lavash roll should be stored by wrapping it with cling film or a bag so that its sheets do not become weathered and it does not become dry.
