As a separate dish, bran began to be included in food relatively recently. If you use them separately, you can lose those extra pounds and become slimmer. So…
What is bran
When processing wheat, bran is separated - it is they that are a useful product, which contain 90% of the total amount of biologically active components of wheat grain. They are not tasty - we note right away, they were once sent directly to animal feed, but for everyone who wants to lose weight, they are a truly invaluable tool. It doesn't really matter which bran to include in the diet. There are as many types of grains as there are types of useful dietary bran, the main thing is that they are real, which means that they are obtained by processing in production:
- wheat;
- millet;
- oat;
- rye;
- rice;
- buckwheat.
If the grain is processed according to modern technologies and the latest technological equipment, then a kind of nutritious waste is obtained with the content of parts: flower shell (shells, husks), aleurone layer, grain germ, dietary fiber.
Useful properties of bran
For weight loss, and in general for the health and beauty of the skin, natural plant fiber is very useful. It is not absorbed in the intestines, but as an absorbent the body simply needs it. Fiber is also involved in digestion as a bile acid binder to lower blood cholesterol. Such usefulness will support the health of those suffering from diseases of the circulatory system and heart (hypertension, stroke, heart attack, etc.). In addition to it, bran contains vitamins of the B-group, E, and carotene, which give us additional energy, reduce fatigue, and protect the nervous system from overstrain. From trace elements: potassium (more than in vegetables), zinc, magnesium, copper, selenium, chromium and some other elements in small amounts.
Bran is necessary for our intestines to improve the microflora, with its help you can get rid of dysbiosis, cope with constipation, get rid of toxic substances, and most importantly, improve the ability of the intestine to absorb the maximum of useful elements from food.
With diseases of the gallbladder, bran helps to cope with its dyskinesia - they have choleretic properties.
By including bran in your diet on a regular basis, you can both lose weight and normalize blood glucose levels
By the way, this is very good for those who have diabetes.
If you just use this valuable dietary product for weight loss, then, perhaps, the problem of a balanced diet as a whole will be solved.
How to use bran for weight loss
Diet nutrition is especially important for babies, and in order for them to be healthy and develop faster, they include nutritious foods in their diet. These include bran. They are "treated" to kids from the age of two. This is again a word about the benefits of the product. And to prevent excess weight for an adult, it is enough to eat two tablespoons of bran of any kind (which is more to your taste). Of course, do not just chew in your mouth, but drink enough water, skim milk or kefir.
As soon as the bran is swollen from the liquid, the most useful functions for weight loss are "turned on": toxins are absorbed and excreted, do not allow us to get hungry and with this eat excess food and calories, "charge" us with energy and give us nutrients. Oatmeal is especially useful for weight loss. Granulated bran is also sold, which must be brewed in boiling water before use. Let it steam for 30–20 minutes and drain off the rest of the water. Now they can be mixed with yogurt, berries, juice, kefir or even cottage cheese, but without adding granulated sugar. At night, it is good to drink two glasses of clean water and eat a spoonful of bran.
To provide a daily dose, it is enough to eat 35 grams of this valuable product. Usually divided into three steps. The bran diet should be followed for 3, 4 weeks. Then you need to take a break.
Contraindications
Despite the value of this nutritious product, there are contraindications to its use. First of all, eating bran is not recommended for those suffering from diseases of the intestines and digestive system: diarrhea syndrome, duodenal and stomach ulcers, gastritis, adhesions and erosion in the stomach. It happens that a person feels great, has no chronic diseases, but after consuming this dietary product complains of a burning sensation in the abdomen, bloating, gas or nausea. In this case, you need to drink water and stop eating them.
The absorbent properties of bran interfere with the absorption of drugs, zinc, iron. Consider this, and if you are undergoing a course of treatment, then perhaps it is better to refuse another healing product - bran.
If you decide to lose weight due to the stool-weakening properties of the product, then remember that along with toxins, other nutrients and substances that your body need are washed out. Long use of this property of bran is not worth it - you can weaken the immune system.
