Muesli is a mixture of grains, nuts, fruits, and other additives. They are consumed cold and hot, poured over with milk or water. Granola is a baked cereal that combines oatmeal and other cereals with honey or natural sweeteners to bond the ingredients together. Granola can include all kinds of nutritious and crunchy additions: honey or chocolate crunches, puffed flakes, dried fruits (raisins, figs, dried apricots or prunes), coconut, seeds (sunflower, pumpkin, sesame), nuts (almonds, cashews, hazelnuts or walnuts). And this is just a short list of what can be added to granola. Thanks to this range of products, granola is a healthy breakfast that will provide energy and vigor for the whole day.
Granola is prized for its lumpiness, which is achieved by the addition of oil and heat treatment, which helps to bind the product into a homogeneous mass. This is the main difference from muesli, which has a crumbly texture. The second main difference is that granola is always baked, but muesli is not, they consist of raw flakes. In addition, muesli is always consumed with milk, yogurt, juice or water, and granola can be snacked just like that in a dry form!

Ingredients:
- Oat flakes - 200 g
- Coconut flakes - 30 g
- Sunflower seeds - 50 g
- Vegetable oil - 2-3 tablespoons
- Sesame seeds - 50 g
- Honey - 3 tablespoons
- Raisins - 50 g
- Walnuts - 50 g
Step by step preparation of granola granola, recipe with photo:
1. Pour whole (not crushed) oatmeal into a deep bowl.
2. Grind the walnuts in medium pieces (you do not need to fry beforehand) and send them to a bowl with oatmeal.
3. Shell sunflower seeds or buy them already peeled and add to products.
4. Next, add sesame seeds and stir the dry mixture.
5. Add vegetable oil and honey to the mixture.
6. Place food in a clean, dry skillet and place on the stove with medium heat.
7. Cook the granola, stirring occasionally. When the dry mixture has acquired a golden hue, add coconut flakes to it. Stir and cook for another 5 minutes.
8. Wash the raisins, dry with a paper towel and send to the pan. If it is very dense, then pre-steam it with boiling water for 5 minutes. Stir and cook dry cereals, stirring for 10 minutes. Cool the finished baked granola granola and you can just click for breakfast or fill it with dairy products. It is convenient to take a dry breakfast with you on the road, to work and give to children at school.
