- Eggs - 5 pcs.
- Hard cheese - 50 g
- Butter - 1 tablespoon
- Boiled-frozen shrimps - 100-150 g
Step by step cooking of eggs stuffed with cheese and shrimp, recipe with photo:
1. Pour eggs with cold water and place on the stove to boil. After boiling, reduce the temperature and cook for 8 minutes until a cool consistency. Then immediately transfer to ice water, which is changed every 5 minutes until the eggs have cooled. This action is necessary so that the eggs are well peeled and the white after cleaning has a perfectly flat and smooth surface. So, when the eggs are cold, peel them and cut them in half lengthwise. If you wish, you can cut them figuratively.
2. Remove the yolk from each half of the egg.
3. Add softened butter to the yolks.
4. Grate the cheese on a fine or medium grater and add to the yolks with butter.
5. Using a fork, kneading the yolks, mix the filling well so that it becomes a homogeneous mass.
6. Fill the egg whites with the filling.
7. Pour boiled water over boiled frozen shrimps and add a pinch of salt. Leave them on for 5-10 minutes to thaw.
8. Remove the shrimp from the boiling water and peel off the shell.
9. Place 1-3 shrimps on each stuffed egg. Garnish with a sprig of greens if desired. Serve the finished appetizer to the table. If you will not serve it right away, then cover it with cling film so that it does not weather, and send it to the refrigerator. But store it for no more than a couple of hours, otherwise it will lose its appearance and taste.
