Since ancient times, Ukrainians have been famous for their skill in preparing delicious and hearty meat dishes. Some of them are tortilla, whose name was born from the word "twist". Which, however, is not accidental, tk. this dish is prepared by wrapping the filling in a meat steak. Any filling itself is used: cheese, carrots, prunes, mushrooms … However, whatever you wish! In this review, I'll show you how to make delicious little chimpignon vertunas. Such a meal will pleasantly diversify the festive table and the daily diet.
Any meat is suitable for cooking tortilla: chicken fillet, pork chops, beef tenderloin, etc. You choose the type of meat and part of the carcass. Basically, this meat appetizer is served hot, but chilled it is no less tasty, and such rolls always go with a bang.
You can cook krucheniki in different ways. For example, bake in the oven, simmer in a pan in tomato juice, cream or sour cream. You can use mushroom sauce, it will also turn out delicious. If you are preparing them for the first time, then for reliability, I recommend fastening the twists with wooden skewers or threads.

Cooking grilled mushrooms
1. Wash the mushrooms, clean the caps and pat dry with a towel. Peel the onion with garlic, rinse and wipe with a paper towel.
2. Cut the champignons, onions and garlic into small cubes no more than 1 cm in size. Otherwise, the filling will fall out of the rolls.
3. Pour vegetable oil into a frying pan and heat. Put the mushrooms to fry. There will be a lot of liquid coming out of them at first, so use a high heat to help it evaporate faster.
4. When there is no liquid in the pan, heat it up to medium and continue to fry the mushrooms until they are light golden brown.
5. Put onions with garlic to sauté in another frying pan in vegetable oil.
6. Fry them until they have a characteristic ruddy color.
7. Combine the onion and mushrooms in one large skillet. Season them with salt, ground pepper and any spices. Stir and cook the food together over low heat for about 5 minutes.
8. Prepare the meat by this time. Cut the pork into slices, like into chops, about 1 cm thick. Beat on both sides with a kitchen hammer. Season with salt and pepper on one side and brush with a thin layer of mustard.
9. Put the fried mushrooms and onions on the pieces of meat.
10. Roll the meat into a roll with the filling inside. If you wish, you can tie them with threads.
11. Place the crumpets on a baking sheet, seam side down, and send them to bake in a preheated oven to 180 ° C for half an hour.
12. Serve the finished meal hot. It can be served with boiled potatoes, spaghetti, rice, etc. It is very tasty to pour them with any sauce.
