Have you ever wondered: how do they pickle these cucumbers, which they put in hamburgers ?! Delicate but spicy, salty and sweet, spicy, but not too much. Finally, I learned how to cook such cucumber slices myself and am happy to share with you a recipe for how to cook incredibly delicious pickle cucumbers for the winter for hamburgers. Despite the fact that this is a preparation for the winter (canning, sterilization of cans and everything else), the recipe itself is not complicated at all: everything ingenious is simple! And the balance of spices is exactly what makes the taste of pickles unique. Sometimes, I confess, I can eat them just from the can - they are so delicious! The fact that you will like pickles for winter hamburgers, I have no doubt at all.

Ingredients:
- Cucumbers - 1 kg
- Bulb onions - 2-3 pcs.
- Salt - 3 tbsp. l.
- Sugar - 350 g
- Vinegar - 0.5 l
- Ground turmeric - 0.5 tsp
- Black peppercorns - 10 pcs.
Step by step cooking of incredibly delicious pickles for the winter for hamburgers
Wash cucumbers and cut them into patches no more than half a centimeter thick. Cut off the tails and discard. Cut the onions into thin half rings.
Mix cucumbers and onions, sprinkle with salt and stir again.
We cover the cucumbers with an inverted plate and put oppression (I used a liter jar of water). Leave to infuse for 3 hours.
Over time, rinse the cucumber slices with onions under running cold water, discard in a colander and drain.
Cooking the marinade. In a saucepan, combine vinegar, sugar, turmeric, throw in the black peppercorns (you can also add a few allspice peas).
While stirring to dissolve the sugar, bring the pickle marinade to a boil over medium heat.
Put cucumbers and onions in a saucepan with marinade, wait until they boil and let them boil for just a minute.
We lay out the pickles in sterile jars. Since this blank will be used mainly for salads, sandwiches, burgers or as an addition to a complex side dish, it is better to choose small jars (300-500 ml).
Roll the cucumbers into jars and wrap them until they cool completely. After that, we store the workpiece in the pantry or in the basement.
The beauty of winter pickle cucumbers for hamburgers is that they can be used as intended immediately, literally the next day. But they will completely enter the taste in a month: then the pungent vinegar smell will go away.
