1. First of all, check the ripeness of the avocado by squeezing it in your palms. It should be soft, not mushy. Then wash it under running cold water and dry it with a paper towel. Use a sharp knife to cut it in half in a circle from top to bottom until you come across a bone.
2. Use your hands to turn the halves of the fruit in different directions. With a ripe avocado, this will be very easy to do.
3. Divide the fruit into two halves.
4. With the half of the fruit on which the bone remains, walk around the bone with a small knife.
5. Then pry it with a small teaspoon and gently pull it out.
6. After that, the avocado pulp can be eaten with a spoon, so further peeling is not necessary. But if you need to use the fruit in a salad or appetizer, then cut the pulp of the fruit in each half directly in the peel into the desired shape: into cubes, half rings, straws …
