- Butter - 100 g (margarine can be used)

- Chocolate drops or dark chocolate - 100 g
- Wheat flour - 250 g
- Salt - a pinch
- Vanilla sugar - 1 sachet
- Eggs - 1 pc.
- Soda - 0.5 tsp
Step by step preparation of crumbly shortbread cookies with chocolate, recipe with photo:
1. Cut the butter into slices, place in a bowl and microwave. Melt it to a liquid consistency, but you do not need to bring it to a boil.
2. Drive an egg into the melted butter and stir until smooth. If you use only yolks, the biscuits will be more crumbly. Then take 2 chicken yolks.
3. Sift the flour through a fine sieve to enrich it with oxygen. This will make the cookies softer. Then combine it with sugar, salt and baking soda. You can add cinnamon to taste. Stir and pour in the egg and butter mixture.
4. Knead an elastic, soft dough.
5. Cut the chocolate into medium pieces with a knife.
6. Add it to the bowl of dough and mix to distribute it evenly throughout the mixture. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap or in a plastic bag and refrigerate for an hour or in the freezer for 15-20 minutes.
7. Line a baking tray with baking paper and brush with a thin layer of butter. Form chilled dough into round flat cookies and place on parchment paper. You can do this with your hands or use special forms.
8. Heat the oven to 180 degrees and bake crumbly shortbread with chocolate for 20 minutes. If you want it to be crispy, then cook for half an hour, you prefer soft products - 15 minutes.
