A dish for fusion lovers: a traditional recipe with a new sound - curd cakes with coconut flakes. Take note of this recipe!
Cheesecakes are a dish that can be served with tea for breakfast, and put to school for a snack, or taken to work for lunch - they are appropriate in any situation and are delicious both hot and cold. Cheesecakes are most often prepared with the addition of raisins, but I would like to add a little exotic touch to this dish. Let's prepare curd cakes with coconut flakes. This dish will become a favorite for those who spoil themselves with Bounty bars from time to time. So let's get down to business.

Recipe for curd cakes with coconut: preparation photo
1. First of all, we combine the main components of cheese cakes: cottage cheese, eggs and sugar. We do not grind the cottage cheese, but just gently mix the ingredients.
2. Add the coconut flakes. Mix the dough well. You can use the unpainted classic white shavings, but I have added colored shavings. That was my color mood - I wanted to misbehave! I decided to add to this dish not only exotic aroma and taste, but also bright summer colors.
3. We form cheese cakes and roll them in flour. Decide for yourself what size of cheesecakes you want to make. Do you like classics? Then the cheesecake will be 6-7 cm in diameter. Or maybe you like baby cheese cakes for one bite? Such cheesecakes are adored by children! Or maybe you like the golden mean? My curd cakes with coconut flakes are 4-5 centimeters in diameter, slightly smaller than the traditional size.
4. Fry curd cakes in a hot frying pan. Very little oil is needed. Let's warm it up well, and only then lay out the cheese cakes. If you put the cheesecake in a cold frying pan, it will stick and it will be difficult to turn it over. And if the oil is not warmed up enough, then our product will not be fried, but will absorb the same oil until it, warmed up, starts to sizzle.
5. As soon as the cheesecake is browned on one side, gently turn it over. We try not to overexpose the cheese pancakes on the fire, but to remove them as soon as they are appetizingly browned.
6. Remove the prepared curd cakes with coconut flakes from the pan and serve with sour cream. Exotic exotic, and traditions should not be broken! We brew tea and invite everyone to feast on. Bon appetit, everyone!
