Kozinaki are no less tasty from them. This delicious oriental delicacy is prepared absolutely without chemicals, preservatives, flavor enhancers and flavorings. Therefore, cooked kozinaki at home can be given with your own hands even to children.
This recipe is so simple that even an inexperienced housewife will make it great the first time. The necessary products for cooking are available and in minimal quantities. Homemade kozinaki are good because they can be made harder or softer, focusing on your taste. To do this, you need to make more or less amount of caramel. In this recipe, the sweetness is very soft, literally fragile and brittle. Therefore, if you want to make the dessert denser, then double the amount of sugar and honey.

- Walnuts - 200 g
- Honey - 1 tablespoon
- Sugar - 3 tablespoons
- Odorless vegetable oil - 1 tablespoon
Step-by-step preparation of walnut kozinaki, recipe with photo:
1. Crack the walnuts from the shell. Fry them lightly in a skillet with medium heat, stirring occasionally so that they do not burn. Next, put them on a board and roll them out with a rolling pin so that they are slightly detailed. Although not required, you can leave them coherent. You can also buy nuts in the supermarket, peeled and roasted.
2. Pour sugar into a saucepan and add honey. If you are allergic to bee products, then replace honey with another 1 tbsp. Sahara.
3. Place the container with sugar and honey on the stove over medium heat and heat while stirring. Sugar and honey should combine, sugar dissolve, and the mass should acquire a golden hue and sticky consistency.
4. Place the walnuts in a bowl of caramel and stir well so that each kernel is covered with a sticky glaze.
5. Grease parchment paper with a thin layer of vegetable oil and spread the nut mass on it. On top of it, put another sheet of paper and roll the mass through it with a rolling pin to get an even rectangular layer no more than 1 cm thick. Although you can adjust the thickness and length of the treat yourself. Cut the still hot mass into pieces of the desired size with a knife and send to the refrigerator to harden.
6. After 20 minutes, the caramel will harden well, so carefully remove the kozinaki from the parchment so as not to break it. according to this recipe, they are very fragile and soft.
