Ingredients:
- Potatoes - 4-5 pcs. depending on the size of tubers
- Salt - 2/3 tsp
- Veal liver - 400 g
- Ground black pepper - a pinch
- Vegetable oil - for frying
- A mixture of spices (any) - 1 tsp
- Milk - 250 ml
Step by step cooking of stewed potatoes with liver in milk, recipe with photo:
1. Wash the liver, cut the films with veins and cut into pieces of medium size.
2. Peel the potatoes, wash and cut into medium-sized cubes.
3. In a saucepan or skillet, heat the oil and place the liver. Fry the liver over a little over medium heat until golden brown.
4. Add the chopped potatoes to the cookie jar. Stir the ingredients on a medium heat and cook for about 10 minutes.
5. Season food with salt and black pepper and add your favorite aromatic spices and herbs. I have a mixture of Italian herbs.
6. Pour milk into a saucepan to cover all food.
7. Bring the dish to a boil, reduce the temperature to the minimum setting and simmer the potatoes with liver in milk under the lid for 1 hour. If you like the potatoes to be very boiled, simmer the food for 2 hours.
