In this section I will tell you how to make meatballs deliciously. But first, let's figure out what are "bits"? The meatballs are the same meat cutlets, which differ in their round shape and method of heat treatment.
So, meatballs differ from cutlets, firstly, in shape. The meatballs are round, the cutlets are oval. Second, the meatballs are stewed, the cutlets are fried or baked. Although today meatballs can be cooked in different ways. They are fried, baked, and stewed, but most often they are languished in various sauces: sour cream, tomato, combined, etc. Also, this appetizing dish is sometimes made with different fillings, for which any products are used: cheese, mushrooms, vegetables, cereals, eggs, etc. Meatballs are prepared from any kind of meat and poultry: pork, veal, beef, rabbit, lamb, chicken. Also, offal are suitable for cooking - heart, liver, tongue, stomachs, brains, etc.

Ingredients:
- Pork - 1 kg
- Rice - 100 g
- Onions - 1 pc.
- Tomato paste - 2 tablespoons
- Eggs - 1 pc.
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Vegetable oil - for frying
- Bay leaf - 2 pcs.
- Salt - 1 tsp
- Ground black pepper - a pinch
- Allspice peas - 4 pcs.
Cooking stewed meatballs with rice filling
1. Wash the meat and dry it dry. Strip it from the tape and remove the veins. Pass through a meat grinder with a medium wire rack. Peel the onion, rinse and twist as well. Peel the garlic and pass through a press.
2. Add the egg to the minced meat, season with salt and ground pepper.
3. Stir the food well until smooth. I advise you to do this with your hands, passing the minced meat between your fingers. This will mix better.
4. Rinse the rice, put in a saucepan, fill with drinking water in a 2: 1 ratio (water: rice), and boil for 15 minutes. Salt it a little. It is not necessary to bring it to full readiness, it will cook when extinguishing the meatballs.
5. Start shaping the balls. From the minced meat, make cakes in the middle of which put a spoonful of rice.
6. Cover the rice with a second flatbread and pin the edges together. Roll the balls into a round shape with your hands so that the seams are smooth and even.
7. Place the meatballs on a baking tray.
8. Pour the tomato and 500 ml of drinking water into the pan. Add bay leaves, allspice peas, season with salt and ground pepper. Heat over medium heat for 10 minutes.
9. Fill the meatballs with tomato sauce and send to bake in a heated oven up to 200 ° C for half an hour.
10. Serve the finished dish hot after cooking.
