According to the canons, it is allowed to pre-fry the products. This cooking method provides the dish with a rich flavor and aroma. Various products are prepared by long-term stewing: all kinds of sauté, vegetables, meat, goulash … So, stewed veal with pepper and tomatoes turns out to be exceptionally tasty.
It turns out the meat according to this recipe is very juicy and aromatic. There are a lot of varieties of peppers and tomatoes, so you can use any of them for the recipe. This includes frozen fruits. For the spice of the dish, use any spices and herbs that most suit your taste. This stew will be extremely flavorful.

Ingredients:
- Veal - 800 g
- Sweet red pepper - 1 pc.
- Greens, herbs and spices - to taste
- Onions - 1 pc.
- Vegetable oil - for frying
- Tomatoes - 2 pcs.
- Ground black pepper - pinch or to taste
- Salt - 1 tsp or to taste
Step by step cooking of stewed veal with pepper and tomatoes, recipe with photo:
1. Wash the veal and dry it with a paper towel. Cut off the veined films and excess fat. Cut the meat into medium-sized pieces and place in a preheated skillet with vegetable oil. Arrange the meat in one layer to brown it. If the veal is piled on a pan in a mountain, then it will begin to release juice and will immediately be stewed, from which it will lose some of the juiciness.
2. Turn the heat on a little over medium and fry the meat until golden brown, which will seal the fibers and keep all the juice in chunks.
3. Peel the sweet pepper from the seeds and fibers and cut into slices, strips, cubes, etc. Send it to the pan and lightly fry.
4. Peel the onions, chop them into rings or half rings and fry until transparent in a frying pan in vegetable oil. Take a heavy-bottomed saucepan, cauldron, or any other container and put the fried onions into it.
5. Put fried pieces of meat on top of the onion and season with salt, black pepper and any spices.
6. Place roasted peppers on top of the veal.
7. Wash tomatoes, dry, cut into rings and place on top of all products.
8. Pour some drinking water into a pot and place the pot on the stove. Boil, turn the heat to the minimum setting and simmer under the lid for 45 minutes. Serve the cooked stew with peppers and tomatoes hot with any side dishes.
