Turkish pizza, or as it is also called Pide or Lahmacun, is prepared from lamb or ground beef, vegetables, chili peppers, eggs, and is often supplemented with cheese and other products. The basis of the pizza - the dough - is simply incomparable. It is very elastic, and after cooking it remains soft and just as tasty! It is a pizza thin cake made from yeast dough. Minced meat is placed on it, and vegetables and greens are placed on top. Moreover, in different regions of Turkey, this oriental dish is prepared in its own way.
This Turkish tortilla is served in many Turkish restaurants. It is loved by the Turks themselves and by numerous foreign tourists. In addition, such a dish is not at all difficult to prepare at home on your own. And if you have never tried Turkish pizza before, then be sure to try and cook it yourself at home! 6. And knead a not too tight elastic dough so that it lags behind the walls of the dishes and hands.
7. Leave the dough in a warm place, covering it with a cotton towel for half an hour, so that it rises and increases in volume by 2-3 times.
8. In the meantime, wash the meat, cut off the veins and film. Place the meat grinder and twist it through the middle wire rack.
9. Put the minced meat in a bowl and season it with salt and pepper with any of your favorite spices and herbs.
10. Peel the onions and cut very thinly into half rings. Wash the tomato, cut in half and cut into thin half rings. Grate the cheese. Peel the bell peppers from the seeds with partitions and cut into strips.
11. Wrap the dough that has come up with your hands and roll it out with a rolling pin into a thin round layer about 5 mm high. Place it in a baking dish.
12. Apply a thin layer of minced meat on top, spreading it over the entire area and, as it were, squeeze it into the dough.
13. Put onion and bell peppers on it.
14. Then spread the tomatoes.
15. Chill everything with cheese and send it to an oven heated to 180 degrees, where bake the pizza for about 15 minutes. Do not overdo it for a long time so as not to dry it out. The filling should remain juicy and the dough should be soft.
